I have produced animated material through Ulcer City Entertainment since 2004. Ulcer City produced two experimental shorts: Scenes from Starkdale, Ohio, and The Doughboy, both of which were designed to tell stories in ambient settings. Years later, Starkdale still feels like a major project. In the early 2000s, I produced and directed animated shorts for Sam the Dog, Inc.
